HALLELUJAH CHORUS

Revelation 19:6

For the Lord God omnipotent reigneth, Hallelujah!”  He is Ruler with absolute and universal sovereignty.  He is Creator of heaven and earth.  He is the One who brought into being our mind, body, and soul.  “He hath chosen us in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.”  “O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.”                                                              Psalm 150

The Hallelujah Chorus was birthed out of a truly thankful heart at believing the Holy Bible.  A heart pierced by the Word, “All things of this earth eventually wither and fade.”   You see, George Frederick Handel, a very talented and gifted musician, lost his dream and all he worked towards.  His response spiritually was nothing.  It affected him financially, emotionally, and physically.  Yet, in God’s mercy, Handel was fed Christ by one who Loved To Tell The Story of Jesus and His Love.  He moved with hunger towards Jesus, and his life changed.  He came to Jesus confessing his inability.  He came with a teachable heart, receiving God’s ability.  He came trusting Christ no matter what the circumstances, growing in faith and confidence.  He came believing God reigns.  Handel went into his home alone with Christ, and twenty-three days later came out with The Hallelujah Chorus.  In fact, an entire choral symphony was birthed, namely The Messiah.  The Bible says, “We should show forth the praises of Him who called us out of darkness and into His marvelous Light.”  He calls us out of our self-love through lust and pride, and into His love, through Jesus the Christ …the only One omnipotent to reign.                             Isaiah 40:9

It is when I am Nearer My God to Thee that I can say I Saw the Lord How Great Thou Art.  He so desires to Be Thou My Vision.  He asks of me, Take Time to Be Holy.  “Speak oft with the Lord; abide in Him always, and feed on His Word.”  Yes, Jesus Loves Me.  He sacrificed all for love.  So now I come, Search Me, O God.  “Awake my soul and sing,” Crown Him With Many Crowns.   “Crown Him Lord of love, Lord of peace, Lord of lords, and Lord of eternity.”  “He shall reign for ever and ever, and of His Kingdom there shall be no end.”  “To Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever.”  Just Trust and Obey Him to Take My Life and Let It Be His.  It is when I come In The Garden alone with Christ, that “He talks with me and walks with me.”  So Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus, “look full in His wonderful face,” and He will put a new song in your heart.  So much truth is found in these hymns as we turn to Jesus, the Holy One, and away from our self.  There Is Power In The Blood as I Surrender All.  The omnipotent Lord Jesus Christ defines the rest.  We need only to come to Him His way.  “Thou art He that took me out of my mother’s bowels: my praise shall be continually of Thee.”                                                 I Peter 2:9

Behold the Lamb of God, The Messiah is come, and “He shall reign forever and ever.”  Hallelujah! Hallelujah!  And He Keeps Me Singing through His love.
