THIS IS MY FATHER'S WORLD

Sing!  Sing unto the Maker, for as we look around, we daily see God's masterpieces.  Rocks and trees, and skies and seas, birds with individual voices, all sing their obeisance to the One who tenderly formed them.  Let us look around, for this is what it takes to lift our eyes to the Throne Room.  And the One who sits upon the throne is inviting us in...

It is Good

The Maker called out from heaven’s height,

With a voice of thunder, “Let there be light!”

Then…

The king of Heaven and of Earth

Orchestrated the night and day.

As He pondered all it’s worth,

He did only stand still and say,

What I have made is good.”

It is Good, it is perfect,

I make no mistake.

It is Good.

The Potter shaped the waters and land,

By His voice, they willingly gathered.

And looking over sea and sand,

He thought how each of them mattered.

And said,

What I have made is good.”

It is Good, it is perfect,

I make no mistake.

It is Good.

With one word, sprung gardens and trees,

And each uniquely pleased His eye.

The Artist painted oddly-shaped leaves,

And uttered a soft and tender sigh.

Saying,

What I have made is Good.”

It is Good, it is perfect,

I make no mistake.

It is Good.

From on High, the Holy Uncreated One

Spoke into being man in His image.

And each one bearing son after son,

Fell from grace, marring their visage.

He came for all of these fallen.

He came to set them free,

And entered Earth in a stable,

So that all creation might see

That…

What He has planned is Good.

It is Good, it is perfect.

He makes no mistake.

It is Good.

I conclude with three words...  All bow down!
